About Chanel
Chanel Ray is a creative writer whose passion for storytelling came at a young age. As a biracial child raised in an area with little diversity, she found herself struggling with both her racial identity and sexual orientation- searching for avenues to express her thoughts and experiences, while also seeking places she could see herself properly represented. This, amongst many of her life’s journeys, inspired her first book “SOulfully You” as well as following her passion for writing children's books and founding Ray of Sunshine Publishing in April 2023. Her next book, "You Heard Me", will be released end of May 2023.

About Stepha
Stepha is a professional photographer, specializing in portrait photography, and most notably known for her feature on New York Times Bestselling author Miranda Cowley Heller's book "The Paper Palace". She is based out of Los Angeles, helped establish Ray of Sunshine Publishing in April 2023, and is the official illustrator for Chanel Ray's next children's book, "You Heard Me" to be released end of May 2023!
