Inspiration Behind "You Heard Me"

Research shows between the ages of 8-14, girls' confidence drops by 30% - taking an even steeper nosedive around age 12. Their fear of failure comes into the mix, they begin to severely stress about who does or does not like them, and the negative self talk/self doubt begins to creep in - having them second guess themselves and their abilities. "You Heard Me" is based on my own experience as a young woman and meant to be a beautiful reminder of the many things young women can and will accomplish in this world - despite what any naysayer or internal voice might be saying.
